Erik and Sarah Hargrave have created a life together in the backdrop of their love for Texas A&M and everything Aggies represent. Erik, Class of 2003, an Ag Development major and member of Phi Delta Theta, honed his leadership and entrepreneurial skills to become one of the top mortgage bankers in the country. Sarah, Class of 2004, and a political science major also worked in the mortgage business for a decade before opening her own interior design firm and brick and mortar storefront, The Collective. Although Erik and Sarah met in college (Sarah was Erik’s bartender at Carney’s Pub!), they lost touch for several years. Ironically, both relocated to Dallas post-graduation and both found success in the mortgage industry. After reconnecting in 2012 through mutual friends, they were married in 2014 and have since planted roots in the Lakewood community of East Dallas. 2012 was an exciting year for both The Hargraves and Texas A&M, and the theme of excitement and community pushed them to purchase a second home in College Station. Erik and Sarah, never a couple to turn down a project, purchased a property, sight unseen, at a tailgate and after extensive renovations created their home away from home. As a proud partner of Texas A&M Athletics, The Hargraves enjoy spending many weekends in College Station each year, supporting their teams and contributing to their beloved alma mater.
